Parelheiros Knowledge Space
2014
Parelheiros
SP, Brazil
The “ASP – Joaquim Fonseca Lopes” Penitentiary in Parelheiros currently has 4 rooms, in each of the pavilions, for pedagogical activities that are articulated through the access corridor. This project aims to renovate and reorganize the rooms and the corridor, creating new uses and possibilities for the space.
Multi-purpose Grotinho Building
2008 – 2012
Paraisópolis, São Paulo
SP, Brazil
The Paraisópolis Favela, also in the south of São Paulo, has several areas with problems related to soil stability, water drainage, vehicle and pedestrian traffic, among others that impact the housing issue. In particular, the area known as “Grotinho” was subject to landslides, with the risk of death and material losses for residents.

Residencial Diogo Pires
2011
Jaguaré, São Paulo
SP, Brazil
Residencial Diogo Pires is part of the urbanization actions of the Favela Nova Jaguaré in São Paulo with the objective of carrying out part of the resettlement of families living in areas at risk or affected by infrastructure works.
The project explores the relationship between public and private by proposing varied spaces and uses, especially those established on the ground floor, which emphasize the importance of “collective life” as an indispensable element for the construction of a more democratic city.
Areião Urbanization
2011 – 2014
Montanhão, São Bernardo do Campo
SP, Brazil
The proposal seeks to promote urban integration between the set of settlements and the consolidated urban area, connecting it to the North with the rest of the municipality, reversing the condition of isolation that the neighborhood has, through the extension of Av. Padre Léo Comissári, passing through the Braservice and Silvina Audi centers, and facilitating access to the center and the surrounding public facilities.
The qualification of the environmentally degraded areas as a result of the anthropization process seeks to focus on the recovery of the Billings Basin Springs through the recomposition of the vegetation of ridges, slopes, stream banks, seeking to reestablish this cycle of capturing and recharging water for the springs, and the implementation of infrastructure systems such as water supply, sewage collection and drainage networks, for 100% of the intervention area, avoiding the dumping of this polluting source directly at the dam.
